Step 1: Sign-up For The Google Account

In order to create a Google Developers Account, you must first have a

Google aka Gmail account. Please skip to Step 2 if you already have an Gmail account associated with your organization.

To get started, click here to sign up for a new Gmail account for your organization. You can always use any of your current Google accounts or create another one specifically for your app development process.

Step 2: Create Your Google Developer Account

1) To get started, click here to sign up for a new Google Developer account for your organization. NOTE: It is recommended to open your Google Developer account sign up link in a Chrome browser incognito window. Click here to learn more about incognito window.. To start your Google Developer account creation in a incognito window, just hover your mouse over the "click here" link

and right click and select "Open link in incognito window." 

2) Choose "An organization" and click "Get started."

3) Fill out the form below. As Google utilizes this information to confirm your identity and that of your company, you must be careful not to provide any false details. Continue to answer all question until you get the end where Google will ask you to pay a One-time $25 fee.

Step 3

Step 3: Make Payment

After completing the form and making a one time Google developer registration payment of $25, your account will be created.

 

You will receive two emails, one with the subject line Google: Thank You. and the second with the subject line You need to verify your identity

1) First located the email Google: Thank You. In this email, look for your Order Number (also referred to as an Order Number or Transaction ID). 

 

You can also locate your Order Number or Transaction ID by logging into your developer account email at https://pay.google.com, click on the $25 registration fee, you will then see your Order Number or Transaction ID.

2) Copy your Order number, then head to your NOWCAST dashboard. Click on Settings > Developers Accounts > under the Google Logo click Edit

3) Now you will enter the Gmail account you used to create your Google developer account. The Developer Name will be the name of your organization and finally paste your Order number then click "Save."

4) Now go back to your Gmail inbox and look for the second email with the subject line, "You need to verify your identity" Click on the blue "Verify now" button to start the verification process. NOTE: If you created your Google Developer Account in the incognito window, make sure you hover your mouse over the blue "Verify now" button, right click and select "Open link in incognito window."

5) Click the blue "Start Verification" button where you will need to upload a government issued ID.

6) Once you've uploaded an Goverment issued ID, you're done with the verification process.

Step 4

Step 4: Invitation To NOWCAST as an Admin to your Google Developer Account

1) To get started, click here to go to the Google Play Developer Console and select Users and permissions on the left-hand navigation menu and then select Invite new users.

2) Now add google@nowcast.cc email address in the User details. Under Permissions, click on Account Permissions select Admin (All permissions), once you're finished click the blue "Invite User" button.

Step 5: Create Your Google Publishing API

1) Click here to Create a project in the Google Cloud Console.

2) Label the Project Name to "NOWCAST" the click Create

3) Click on APIs & Services then select Library

4) Scroll to the bottom until you see "Google Play Android Developer API" then click on Google Play Android Developer API.

5) Click the "Enable"

6) Now Click Here to create your Service Accounts

then click on the NOWCAST Project

7) Select + Create service account found at the top of the page

8) Provide a name for your account (eg: "NOWCAST") and

then click on Create and Continue

9) Now click "Select a Roleand choose Service Account on the left, then Service Account Admin on the right, then click Continue. Once you've click Continue, now click the blue "Done" button.

10) On the right of the newly created account, click the three dots under Actions and select Manage Keys

11) Now click on Add Key button, then click on Create Key

12) Choose JSON, then click Create, and a .json file will be downloaded automatically to your computer.

13) Go back to the Developer Console located at https://play.google.com/console Click on "API Access" on left side menu, then scroll down till you see Credentials. If you don't see a key under Email, click on the Refresh link. Once you click on the Refresh link, you will see your JSON key under Email.

13) Now navigate back to your NOWCAST dashboard to upload your .JSON file. Click on Settings > Developers Accounts > under the Google Logo click Edit

Step 6

Step 6: Grant NOWCAST API Access

1) Go back to the Developer Console located at https://play.google.com/console click on "API Access" on left side menu, then scroll down till you see Credentials. Select Mange play console permissions.

2) Now select Admin (all permissions) for the account permissions, then select Blue Invite User. In the Send invite? popup, 

select Send Invite to confirm.

3) Now navigate back to your NOWCAST dashboard to click the check box labeled, "I have granted access to my account by adding NOWCAST as an Admin." Click on Settings > Developers Accounts > under the Google Logo click Edit. Scroll to the very bottom until you see Grant permission to your Publishing API.

CONGRADULATIONS YOU'VE JUST SETUP YOUR GOOGLE DEVELOPER'S ACCOUNT.
